Kedou Renjia, a cultural and health tourism complex project located in Bingcun Town, Mei County District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, China, is constructed by Meizhou Ding Sheng Yi Tian Cultural Tourism Industry Investment Co., Ltd. The project is planned to invest a total of 5 billion yuan with a planned total area of 2000 acres, with the first phase covering 1000 acres. It integrates cultural shaping, live performances, folk experiences, healthy cuisine, and leisure vacationing into one comprehensive destination.
The Old Street of Ke Xiang is the first immersive tour, featuring four major thematic sections: Memory of Meizhou, Gourmet Meizhou, Meizhou’s Charm, and Joyful Meizhou. This distinctive ancient street combines six business experience projects including craftsman culture display, folk performances, leisure and entertainment, Hakka homestays, creative workshops, and regional cuisine.
The original theater production ‘Yuan Xiang’ is China’s first large-scale stage play with Hakka culture-themed immersive experience, and it is also the world’s first live performance centered around Hakka culture. The story is based on the migration background of Hakka people’s southward migration and overseas livelihood, and through three major performance threads of ‘Transcendence·Traceability·Return’, it spans across time dimensions to tell the story of ‘guests, Hakka people, and Hakka capital’. The venue is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
