The ‘Jinjiang Cup’ National College Students Intangible Cultural Heritage Science Popularization Challenge recently concluded successfully in Shanghai on May 24, 2024, at 16:08. Organized by the National Pan-Hospitality Industry Education Integration Community, with Jinjiang International Group at the helm, the competition aimed to promote the protection and promotion of intangible cultural heritage through competitive means and to deepen industry-education integration between enterprises and universities.

The competition was meticulously structured into three tracks: ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage Science Popularization Competition’, ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage Vlog Experience Competition’, and ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage Marketing Plan Competition’. These tracks attracted more than 1000 colleges and universities nationwide and over 70,000 college students who participated enthusiastically.

The offline finals of the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage Marketing Plan Competition’ were held on May 19, gathering experts in the fields of tourism and intangible cultural heritage, as well as 11 outstanding college student teams. They came together to witness a collision of culture and creativity. Themed ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage “Time Machine”: Exploring Traditional Culture’, the finals saw participating students skillfully integrating various elements of intangible cultural heritage, such as clay figurines, paper-cutting, Suzhou fans, and shadow puppetry, into industry marketing plans. This integration allowed these precious traditional cultures to regain vitality in modern society.Through unique perspectives and innovative thinking, students have enabled more people to understand, recognize, and enter the world of intangible cultural heritage.
