In Binhu New District, Hefei, there is a building shaped like warships sailing side by side, which is the Memorial Hall of the Crossing-the-Yangtze River Campaign. The entire Memorial Hall of the Crossing-the-Yangtze River Campaign unfolds from north to south in sequence of Liberation Square, the memorial hall, the statue of the General Front Committee, Victory Square and Victory Tower. The exhibition area of the main exhibition hall is more than 3,000 square meters. After visiting the ‘Victory Star’ memorial tower and the statues of the five members of the General Front Committee outside the exhibition hall, go directly to the viewing platform on the second floor from the steps in the middle of the main exhibition hall. Entering the viewing platform on the second floor, a huge group sculpture is facing. The group sculpture is 50 meters long, 8 meters high and partially 12 meters high. It adopts a creative technique combining realism and freehand brushwork and is currently an indoor art group sculpture in China.
Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year from 09:00 to 17:00; Closed all day on Monday throughout the year.
