The Oriental Pearl Tower stands tall in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai, facing the Bund across the river, and is a landmark of the city. Dining at the 267-meter high revolving restaurant while enjoying the night view of Shanghai is an extraordinary experience. The tower, standing at 468 meters high, is composed of 11 spheres of varying sizes, a design inspired by the beautiful imagery of ‘large and small pearls falling onto a jade plate’.

Ascending to the three main spheres allows visitors to appreciate the urban landscape of both banks of the Huangpu River from different heights. Particularly, standing on the 259-meter high transparent observation deck, one can enjoy the panoramic view of Shanghai in a unique ‘walking in the air’ manner. Visiting the observation deck at night to experience the vibrant colors under the ‘city that never sleeps’ is an unforgettable pleasure.

The Oriental Pearl Tower is also a small world of entertainment, cuisine, exhibitions, and shopping. At the Shanghai Urban Development History Exhibition Hall located at the base of the tower, one can learn about the changes in modern Shanghai history. Experience the 95-meter high ‘sky VR roller coaster’ for thrilling screams and flights. After tiring play, one can visit the revolving restaurant to taste cuisines from around the world and enjoy live cooking performances.

At the end of the journey, visitors can shop for souvenirs at the specialty goods floor or buy a postcard, get it stamped at the sky post office, and send it to themselves or friends and family they wish to bless. Opening hours are from 09:00 to 21:00 all year round; during National Day, the opening hours are from 08:30 to 21:00. Preferential policies for children: under 1 meter (not including), free of charge; between 1 meter (including) and 1.
