Tianjing Pavilion is located in the Shihu Scenic Area known as ‘half a lake of jasper’. It was originally one of the many scenic spots in the Shihu villa of Fan Chengda, a famous poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. The scenic spot was destroyed in the early 20th century. Now, according to the site plan and scroll records, it has been restored to an excellent location for viewing the lake in the Shihu scenic area. The Tianjing Pavilion scenic spot covers a total area of more than 2,600 square meters, and the building area is nearly 600 square meters. In the south of the scenic spot, a three-story octagonal double-eaved pavilion is built as the main scenery of Tianjing Pavilion. Tianjing Pavilion is a beautiful pearl inlaid in Shihu Lake.
Opening hours: From January 1st to December 31st, open from 08:00 to 20:00.
