Tianmuxi, also known as Fenshuijiang. According to ‘Commentary on the Water Classic’, it is said that ‘mountains are connected with water. Two peaks stand opposite each other. Opposite stones face each other and often resist each other. In more than ten li, there are piles of rocks and stones. They are held up together. Under the stream, there is white sand and fine stones, which look like frost and snow. Water and trees reflect each other. Springs and stones compete for brilliance…’. Tianmuxi is known for the saying that ‘there are eighteen rapids in the stream, and one rapid is higher than another’. The mountains and waters on both sides are connected, and the mountains are emerald. It is a beautiful section of Tianmuxi. Tourists sit on the raft and drift downstream leisurely. Sometimes they pass through valleys and depressions, and the mountains turn and the water flows back. Sometimes they plunge down and ride the waves and chase the water. Looking around, one can see that the splendid peaks and embroidered ridges form a painting. The blue sky and white clouds are reflected in the image. On the water surface, groups of wild ducks play and frolic together and dance. At the bottom of the raft, waves wash the stones. The swaying water plants and pebbles of different shapes are clearly visible. The fish schools with zebra-like patterns swim in formation. This adds a wild charm to tourists. Along the way, a series of activities such as ‘erhu performance’, ‘cormorant show’, ‘beach barbecue’, ‘treasure hunting in the water’, ‘passionate shallow bay’, and ‘playing in Zhenzhutan’ keep people busy. Water guns, ladles, oars, and washbasins. When we rack our brains and pick up all these things, we have completely reached a state of ecstasy. One by one, like cormorants, we can easily play with the water of Tianmuxi.
