Tiantai Mountain is one of the core scenic spots of the national key scenic area, located 2 kilometers away from Tiantai County. With its peculiar rocks, unique peaks, beautiful waters, and serene valleys, it encapsulates the natural wonders of Tian Lake. A secluded valley with towering strange rocks, three-tiered lakes, clusters of waterfalls, and green mountains reflected in the water, all vividly portrayed as if painted, gather the essence of Tiantai Mountain’s landscape here.
‘Clear lakes and deep pools, cascading waterfalls and flowing springs’ is an ideal depiction of Tian Lake’s waters. The vastness and openness of the Upper Tian Lake, the unique clarity of the Middle Tian Lake, and the delicate charm of the Lower Tian Lake, make each lake distinctive and thought-provoking; the ‘thread of water’ that runs through the three lakes forms multiple dynamic and melodious waterfalls. The Tian Lake scenic area, from top to bottom, with its lakes, waterfalls, pools, and springs, plays a unique, delicate, charming, and dynamic water symphony, truly evoking the mood of ‘suspecting a jade terrace realm, flying among the green clouds.’ Open all year from 08:00 to 17:00.Preferential policies include: Children: Children under 1.2 meters in height (inclusive) or those aged 6 years (inclusive) and below with valid identity card or household registration book, free of charge; minors aged 6 to 18 years (inclusive) with valid identity card or household registration book, half price; Elderly: Elderly aged 70 years (inclusive) and above with valid identity card, free of charge; elderly aged 60 to 70 years (inclusive) with valid identity card, half price; Military personnel: 1.
