Tiantong Temple is located at the foot of Taibai Mountain in Yinzhou District, Ningbo, and was originally established during the Western Jin Dynasty. It is one of the five famous mountains of the Buddhist Zen sect, known as the ‘Southeast Buddhist Kingdom,’ with a history of over 1700 years. Legend has it that a Western Jin monk, Yixing, traveled to this place, built a hut, and practiced diligently. In the desolate mountains, a child would bring him food and water daily until the temple was completed. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions.
