The Tianyu Mountain Observation Deck is located within the Tianyu Scenic Area of Thousand Island Lake, nestled among mountains with an expansive view. Although it is not extremely high in altitude, reaching the top allows one to overlook the majority of the lake and mountain scenery, as well as the magnificent Thousand Island Lake Bridge. To the west, there is almost no obstruction, and on clear days, the sunset slowly sinks into the golden lake surface, making it an excellent spot to enjoy the beautiful sunset of Thousand Island Lake.
Opening hours: 08:00-17:30 all year round.
Preferential policies: Children: Half price for those between 1.2 and 1.5 meters in height or minors under 18 years old. Elderly: Half price for those aged 60 to 69; free for those aged 70 and above. Students: Half price for full-time university undergraduate and below. Journalists: Half price. Disabled: Free. Blood donors: Free for Zhejiang blood donors who have won the National Voluntary Blood Donation Award (with relevant documents). Artists: Free for members of Hangzhou city level and above美术家协会,书法家协会, and photography associations (with relevant documents). Brave citizens: Free with the ‘Honorary Card for Bravery’. Military and preferential treatment objects: Free for active-duty officers (police officers), civilian cadres, soldiers (conscripts, non-commissioned officers), retired military cadres, disabled veterans, martyrs’ families in Zhejiang province, families of martyrs who died in public service in Zhejiang province, and families of deceased military personnel in Zhejiang province.
