Tianzhu Faxi Temple

Tianzhu Faxi Temple, also known as Faxi Temple. Built in the 10th century, it is the origin of the White-robed Avalokitesvara in China. With a history of more than a thousand years, it has always been a famous Buddhist holy place in China. It is also rumored to be one of the Taoist centers of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. Nowadays, it is an effective internet-famous temple in Hangzhou. Today’s Faxi Temple is a relatively large temple among the three Tianzhu temples. There are Sutra Depository Hall, Liangfeng Hall, Thousand Buddha Pavilion, Shuiyuelou, Huanghua Hall, etc. Around the temple, there are scenic spots such as Baiyun Peak, Rudou Peak, Rudou Spring and Baiyun Spring. You can come here to worship Buddha and pray for blessings. You can also visit the buildings and tour the surrounding scenic spots. Opening hours: Open all year round from 06:30 to 18:00; On New Year’s Eve, it is open from 06:30 to 18:00 and from 22:00 to 02:00.
