The famous historical site of Tie Weng City is located on the front peak of Beigu Mountain, specifically on the Gulougang Street to the north of Qingyun Gate. The existing ruins, shaped like a horseshoe, encircle approximately one kilometer. Also known as the Suburb City or the Capital City, Tie Weng City was initially constructed in 195 AD and took shape in 209 AD, during the Three Kingdoms period of the Sun Wu dynasty.
It has been renovated and maintained by the Jin, Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties, making it over 1700 years old. According to the ‘Zhi Shun Zhenjiang Zhi’, it is stated: ‘Tie Weng City is located in front of the main peak of Zhou Fu, also known as the Suburb City.’ The ‘Jian Kang Shi Lu’ records under the year 208 of Jian’an: ‘Quan first moved from Wu to Jingkou and settled there,’ ‘Sun Quan, since Wu, managed Dan Tu and named it ‘Capital City,’ which is the current state, and in the sixteenth year, moved the capital to Jianye, making this Jingkou Town. ‘ The opening hours and specific business conditions are subject to the daily opening status.Tie Weng City Ruins
