Liqiao Water Town is located in Xilian Town, Tongling City, Anhui Province. The scenic area covers an area of 310 acres and is composed of four major functional parks: the water town, the leisure garden, the old street, and the homestay. It consists of over 110 ancient residential buildings, eight ancient streets, and pavilions, towers, and other ancient structures scattered along the water.
To enrich the cultural connotations of the scenic area and create a new tourism card for Liqiao Water Town, the scenic area has launched the ‘Night Tour of Liqiao’ project. By using sound, light, and electricity, the scenic area is beautified and illuminated, making the lighting blend ingeniously with the cultural background, natural landscape, and architectural style, bringing a visual feast to tourists. Immersive night-time activities such as night markets, night food, night shows, night festivals, and night lodging have attracted numerous tourists from both the province and outside.
The scenic area is open year-round from 08:30 to 21:30.

Elderly: Free admission for those aged 70 and above with an elderly ID or ID card.
Children: Free for children under 6 years old (excluding) or under 1.2 meters (excluding) with their household registration book (original) and accompanied by an adult.

Tour guides: Free for tour guides with the travel agency manager qualification certificate issued by the National Tourism Administration (with business card).
Journalists: Free for journalists with their valid ID card (original) and the press card (original) issued by the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China.
Unpaid Blood Donors: Free for those with the ‘Unpaid Blood Donation Honor Card’ of various cities in Anhui Province (with the original ‘xx City Unpaid Blood Donation Honor Card’).
Photographers: Free for members of the photography association with a member card from the photography association at the provincial level or above in Anhui Province (original).
Retired cadres: Free for retired cadres with the ‘Retired Cadre Certificate’ issued by the State Council and the Central Military Commission.
Internet influencers: Internet influencers with more than 100,000 followers can enter the park for free with their ID card and proof of online followers.
Tongling residents: 1. Tongling residents with ID card (household registration book) or nationally certified electronic ID card enjoy free ticket policy; other forms of ID do not enjoy the free ticket policy. 2. Spouses who are from Tongling can enjoy the free ticket policy by showing their marriage certificate (original) and ID card (original). 3. Non-local people who pay social security in Tongling can enjoy the free ticket policy with their social security card (original) and electronic social security card information on Alipay.
Non-local residents who purchase property in Tongling can enjoy free admission by presenting their property deed (original).
Students studying in Tongling can enjoy free admission by presenting their student ID (original).
Tongling’s people’s police can enjoy free admission by presenting their ID and police officer’s certificate (original).
Free students: Full-time undergraduate university students and below (excluding adult education postgraduates) holding their student ID (original), and in July and August, including the original middle school and college entrance examination admission tickets.
