The Jiangning Garden Expo Park is located in Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is located within the environmental protection circle of four scenic spots: Zijin Mountain, Qixia Mountain, Baohua Mountain, and Tangshan Mountain. Here, the dense forests are lush, species are prosperous, and the ecology is diverse. At the same time, it has become an important ecological node in the east purple area of Nanjing.
The site of the Treasure Museum is connected to the No. 2 entrance of the Garden Expo Park in the south and is adjacent to the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway line in the north. The land area is 13,456 square meters, and the total construction area is 15,469.4 square meters. The building has two floors, one above ground and one underground. The Treasure Museum was personally designed by the famous architect Professor Zhang Lei. The building’s exterior is simple and powerful, the interior space is winding and secluded, and there is an aerial garden on the roof. The exterior decoration uses dry-hang perforated weathering steel plates, creating a stunning visual impact. The weathering steel plates that have changed from orange to brown over time form a strong contrast with the surrounding green waters and lush mountains. The metallic texture and modern craftsmanship echo the main exhibition hall of the Garden Expo Park formed based on industrial relics. The staggered staircase platforms, the vertical wall that follows the light, and the open and flowing rich space make the building a machine that records time.Opening hours: Open from 09:30 to 17:30 from May 1st to October 31st; open from 10:00 to 17:00 from November 1st to April 30th.
