The main tourist attractions of Tuanhu are concentrated on the east and south shores. Along the lake, there are parks with small bridges and flowing water, as well as green belts. Strolling by the lake, couples can be seen whispering softly, embodying the life of a small town.
From north to south on the east shore of Tuanhu, there are the Hu Bin Square, Hu Bin Park, and Wu Shi Nanmu Hall. Children often ice skate in Hu Bin Square. Almost every local resident in the city will take a walk in Hu Bin Park, especially on summer nights, enjoying the lake breeze and the cool air. Wu Shi Nanmu Hall is a valuable historical site within the Tuanhu Scenic Area, built during the Ming Dynasty, with four existing structures, originally located in the old town but moved to its current location in the 1990s. On the south shore, Yiyuan is a modern仿古 garden with pavilions, towers, and rockeries arranged in a harmonious manner. The Yunxi Tower, which extends into Tuanhu Lake on the west side, is the iconic building of Yiyuan. In spring, one can fly kites on the large lawn in Yiyuan, while in summer, one can enjoy the lotus flowers. There is also a small maze in the garden for fun. 400 meters to the east of the Tuanhu Scenic Area is a bustling street in Yixing, surrounded by many restaurants. Near the Jinxiu Market, there is a local food street.解放路, connected to Hu Bin Park, also has numerous restaurants and is a place for tea-drinking. Both the Baishu Tea House near Jiefang Square and the Yangxian Renjia are well-reputed tea houses with elegant environments, also providing meals. In the evening, one can leisurely savor a pot of Yangxian tea in a purple sand teapot, have dinner, and then stroll to the lakeside to enjoy the beautiful night view of Tuanhu, epitomizing the leisure of a small town.
