The Underground Long River is located 8 kilometers east of Lanxi. It is also called ‘Liudong Mountain’. The three scenic spots of Underground Long River, Qixia Garden, and Qizhen Temple are particularly famous. In the Underground Long River, an underground underground river over one kilometer long runs through it all the time. The river flows continuously all year round, and the source is still unknown. Taking a boat to travel along the underground river in the karst cave is the characteristic and highlight of visiting the scenic area. The tourist area in the cave can be visited on foot or by boat. It was built during the Changxing period of the Later Tang Dynasty. There are landscapes such as the crystal-clear Tianchi Spring and the magical Feilai Peak in the temple. In the Dongyuan Village not far from the Underground Long River, there is Qixia Garden, the ancestral home of Miss Zhao Si, a famous lady of a generation. It is a Qing Dynasty Huizhou-style building with brick and wood structure. There are some historical materials and stories between Miss Zhao Si and General Zhang Xueliang on display.
