There is also a small roller coaster nearby. Compared to the previous Extreme Screamer, Blue Moon Roller Coaster, and Fireball, this one is much milder. Looking down from high altitude, ‘Crazy Elves’ is not terrifying. Its downhill is relatively slow and there are more tracks on the same plane. The roller coaster rises slowly. Although this height is not high, its passage is not spacious. There is always a feeling that you will fall off. The most exciting part is the turning point. But it’s still very OK.
Treasure Island
Why did I give four stars to the not-so-thrilling Treasure Island? Because it offers an elevated view of the entire Happy Valley, making it a must-visit spot that caters to all ages. Its appeal also lies in the opportunity to rest while taking in the scenery. There’s no need for long queues as it can accommodate many people at once, slowly rotating as it ascends, allowing you to take in the 360-degree panorama of Happy Valley. Be prepared for an image barrage:

Shanghai Happy Valley EV Electronic Music Festival
This water and light show is just a prelude to tonight, more exciting things are yet to come, and it is the climax activity, which is the EV Electronic Music Festival. This is also the main activity promoted by Shanghai Happy Valley this summer, with ample pre-event publicity. I went on the night it started on July 10th, and there were many people, very lively. The music festival will run from July 10th to August 30th, and there will be DJ and MC performances at 14:30, 16:30, 19:00, and 19:55 every day.

I originally planned to book the Happy Valley Jia Hotel, but it was fully booked for August. So I chose a hotel near Happy Valley, located in Songjiang University Town’s Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. Songjiang Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel is situated at the intersection of Renmin North Road and Xin Songjiang Road, adjacent to the Kaiyuan Mediterranean Commercial Plaza.
