She is a famous Hong Kong female singer, actress, host and writer. In 1985, she participated in the New Talent Singing Contest. In 1986, she participated in the ‘Hong Kong Radio Amateur DJ Contest’ and won the second place. Then she joined Hong Kong Radio and officially started her acting career. In 1988, she was nominated for the Best New Performer at the 8th Hong Kong Film Awards with the romantic comedy ‘The Last Affair’. In the same year, she released her debut EP of the same name ‘Vivian Chow’, and the album sales achieved ‘gold record’ results. In January 1989, she won the Outstanding Award for the Most Promising Newcomer at the 11th Top Ten Chinese Golden Melody Awards of Hong Kong Radio.
