Waitongwu Village, nestled in the northeast of Zhuantang Street and within the Longwu Tea Base, is renowned as the ‘Tea Township with Ten Thousand Dances’ and serves as a primary production area for West Lake Longjing tea. In early 2010, it was recognized as one of the first ‘Charming Towns’ in Hangzhou City, featuring six major functional areas: a rural leisure and entertainment area, a residential leisure area, a pomegranate picking experience area, a tea garden sightseeing area, a tea art experience area, and an art and culture area. These areas are predominantly represented by ‘Farmhouse Pomegranate Village + Historical and Cultural Village + Art Creative Village’.

The newly constructed Art Street has drawn over 40 renowned painters to reside in the village, steadily increasing the popularity and reputation of Waitongwu ‘Charming Town’. The village is open to visitors all year round and is accessible 24/7.
