The Wanbird Garden can be called the ocean of birds. The garden brings together more than 150 varieties from all over the world and tens of thousands of birds. Among them, there are more than 20 rare bird species in the world and more than 30 rare bird species in the country. It involves six categories: waterfowls, waders, flyers, songbirds, raptors and square pigeons. The main ones are: parrots, flamingos, cranes, emus, ostriches, mandarin ducks, golden pheasants, peacocks, etc. It is currently one of the bird viewing gardens with relatively complete bird species and a large number in China. The main scenic spots in the Wanbird Garden are: Linghu Waterfowl Garden, Crane Wader Garden, Tropical Flower and Bird Garden, Flamingo Garden, Small Bird Garden, Science Popularization Museum, etc.
Opening hours: Open from 08:30 to 17:00 from May 1st to September 30th; open from 08:30 to 16:30 from October 1st to April 30th.
Preferential policies:
Children: Children under 6 years old (inclusive) or children under 1.4 meters (inclusive) in height can enter for free with valid identity documents.
Minors aged 6 (excluding) to 18 (inclusive) can enjoy preferential treatment with valid identity documents.
Elderly: Elderly people aged 70 or above can enter for free with valid identity documents.
Elderly people aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 (excluding) can enjoy preferential treatment with valid identity documents.
Active servicemen and people with disabilities: They can enter for free with valid identity documents.
Students: Full-time undergraduate and below students can enjoy preferential treatment with valid identity documents.
Medical staff in Suzhou: From August 19th (China’s Doctor’s Day) and May 12th (International Nurses Day) each year, within 7 days, all medical staff in Suzhou can visit all scenic spots under the Mudu Cultural Tourism Group for free.
