Wang Yangming spent his childhood in this building. The main building covers an area of over 500 square meters, with seven floors and seven bases, featuring double eaves and a hard mountain structure. Its simple yet grand architecture reflects the basic style of the Ming and Qing dynasty residences in Eastern Zhejiang.
The main building houses the Wang Yangming Historical Exhibition, which showcases the brilliant life of Mr. Wang Yangming as a figure who excelled in ‘merit, virtue, and speech’ through abundant pictorial and physical materials.
Near the Duan Yun Tower, there are also many ancient buildings such as Qing Hui Jia Qi Tower, Da Fang Yue Di, Han Lin Fang, and Tai Shou Fang. Opening hours are 08:30-17:00 from May 1st to September 30th; and 09:00-16:30 from October 1st to April 30th, closed on Mondays.
