Wang Yangming spent his childhood in this historic building, which stands as a testament to his illustrious life. The main structure, covering an area of over 500 square meters, features a simple yet grand presence with seven stories and a double eaves hard mountain roof. This architectural style is emblematic of the Eastern Zhejiang region during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Inside the main building, visitors will find the Wang Yangming Historical Exhibition. This exhibition richly chronicles Mr. Wang Yangming’s life as a person of ‘utmost achievements, virtues, and words’ through an extensive collection of pictures, documents, and artifacts.
In the vicinity of the Duan Yun Tower, one can also explore a multitude of ancient buildings, including Qing Hui Jia Qi Tower, Da Fang Yue Di, Han Lin Fang, and Tai Shou Fang, each offering a glimpse into the historical and cultural heritage of the area.
