Wanzhou Martyrs’ Cemetery is located at the foot of the picturesque Taibai Rock in the main urban area of Wanzhou, covering an area of 36 acres. It was officially opened to the public in July 2002. The cemetery, facing west and sitting east, primarily consists of a Martyr Deeds Exhibition Hall, a Commemoration Square, a large group sculpture of heroes, pillar sculptures, a Roll of Honor wall, a monument (pavilion), a monument for the ’95 Tragedy, and a memorial hall. It is open to the public from 08:30 to 11:30 and from 14:30 to 16:30 all year round.
