The water market located in Xizha, Wuzhen. Originally, it was an early market for people from surrounding areas. It is called ‘Shuishikou’. The entire water area is divided into two by a wooden trestle bridge running from east to west. The wooden fence bridge and Jingxing Bridge face each other across the Xishi River. On both sides of the east and west of the water area, there are waterside pavilions built along the river. The water market was formerly a place where Wuzhen residents rowed boats to go to the early market for concentrated trading. There are still occasional markets. There is a large koi viewing area beside the trestle bridge.
