Wei Zixi Art Museum

The entire exhibition hall is like a Chinese scroll that is about to be opened, implying Mr. Wei’s deep affection for the prosperous and beautiful mountains and rivers of the motherland. The exhibition hall is composed of a biography room and an exhibition hall reception room. The total area is 580 square meters. A total of 39 works of Mr. Wei from various periods are on display in the exhibition hall.

Here is the painting table used by Mr. Wei during his lifetime. The painting supplies on the table were all used by Mr. Wei during his lifetime and are placed according to his habits. Facing the painting table is Mr. Wei’s representative work “Huangyangjie”. This painting takes the main peak of Jinggang Mountain as the distant view and the winding and upward Luoxiao Mountains with no top in sight as the middle and near views.

With thick ink and heavy colors and layers of rendering, it creates an artistic conception of all mountains being red and forests being dyed, expressing the painter’s reverence and praise for the red revolutionary base. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year from 09:00 to 17:00; Closed all day on Monday throughout the year. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
