Wen Dao Garden is located at the northeast corner of Luo Dian Town, serving as a cultural leisure park primarily focused on the preservation of ancient rural buildings. It features Huizhou-style architecture relocated from places like Anhui, along with a collection of precious exotic stones, and is complemented by dining and club facilities. Due to its distance from the city center, visitors mostly come here during their leisure time for relaxation or for banquets and gatherings.
The main attractions of the scenic area are concentrated to the left of the main entrance, although visitors typically start from the right side, enjoying the garden landscapes along the way. Passing by the Bagua Lotus Pond, not far ahead is the Exotic Stone Pavilion, a must-see spot in Wen Dao Garden, housing a ‘Man-Han Quanxiang’ stone feast that looks good enough to eat; a large piece of Hetian jade, said to be worth over a hundred million, which is the treasure of the pavilion. Additionally, visitors can see a rare nest of dinosaur egg fossils and many other rare treasures, a must for stone enthusiasts.
Exiting the Exotic Stone Pavilion and passing the Imperial Edict Archway, visitors will encounter the Huizhou-style architecture complex, where buildings such as the Huizhou Carved Flower Building and the Martial Champion Building have been rebuilt and renovated to a new luster, complementing the garden’s small bridges and flowing water, offering a unique flavor. The Jinshi Mansion has been transformed into the Wen Dao Garden Restaurant, surrounded by glass sunrooms where visitors can order a variety of small dishes such as noodles and wontons.
