Wenbi Pagoda, located at the South 1 entrance of Hongmei Park, was constructed during the Southern Dynasties and is one of the oldest existing structures in Changzhou. It features a brick and wood structure, standing seven stories high. At the top of the tower, there is a copper gourd weighing 1.5 tons. Visitors can climb the tower to enjoy a panoramic view of Changzhou city.
The ancient pagoda is regarded as the soul of the pen by Changzhou literati, and students facing important exams often visit and climb the tower to pray for blessings. The pagoda is open to the public all year round from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
