Wensi Temple, located beside the Huzu Ancient Town on Huzui Street in Huai’an District, Huai’an City, was originally named Tongyuan Temple and Dabeian. Constructed at the end of the Tang Dynasty, Wensi Temple is nestled between the river and the lake (the West Guanjia Lake, also known as West Lake), offering a vast expanse of misty waters, birdsong and floral fragrance, and a picturesque environment.
