West Taihu Lake Film and Television Base

The West Taihu Lake Film and Television Base is a comprehensive base primarily featuring Republic of China architecture and modern indoor and outdoor scenes. Over 150 films and TV series, including ‘Poison Hunter’, ‘Wu Dong Qian Kun’, ‘A Dream of Extraordinary Origin’, Ann Hui’s film ‘Incense Burner’, Li Shaohong’s film ‘Liberation’, and Gao Qunshu’s film ‘Blade’, have been filmed and produced here.
The West Taihu Lake Film and Television Base also regularly hosts star meet-and-greets, regional intangible cultural heritage displays, and cultural and creative product exhibitions.

Preferential policies include free entry for children under 1.2 meters in height (excluding 1.2 meters), half-price for children between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.5 meters (exclusive), free entry for seniors over 70 years old with valid identification, half-price for seniors aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 (exclusive) with valid identification, free entry for disabled persons with valid documents, and free entry for active military personnel with valid identification.
