Wolong Lake Town is located in the northern part of Lishui District, Nanjing, adjacent to Jiangning. It is a high-end leisure resort area that integrates vacation, rest and entertainment, and historical cultural attractions. The town features luxury yachts, a mountaintop club, various sailboats, a divine horse club, a ten-thousand-person tent festival, and an indoor basketball stadium.
Wolong Lake covers an area of over 7,000 acres, with a north-south depth of nearly 4,000 meters and an elevation of 16.6 meters. It is named after its five pristine peninsulas and the lake’s shape resembling a dragon lying down.
The north and northeast of Wolong Lake are the Wolong Mountain, which is 124 meters high and stretches over two million square meters. Standing on the mountain and looking south, one can see the vast lake stretching for thousands of meters. The lake presents a myriad of forms and colors throughout the seasons, weather conditions, and times of day.
