Located in the northwest corner of Quanjiao County. Originally established in the summer of 1959, the site was beside the Lotus Pond in Quanjiao County. The current hall was rebuilt in October 1984, covering an area of 5,000 square meters with a construction area of 1,000 square meters. It features east and west exhibition halls and a simple yet elegant corridor. Officially opened to the public on July 1, 1986.
In front of the memorial hall’s lobby stands a bronze statue of Wu Jingzi, which is 4.5 meters tall and weighs 500 kilograms. The museum houses various editions of ‘The Scholars’, as well as other works by Wu Jingzi, such as the earliest discovered woodcut edition ‘Wo Xian That Tang Edition’, ‘Zeng Bu Qi Sheng Tang Edition’, ‘Wen Mu Shan Fang Ji’, ‘Wen Mu Shan Fang Shi Shuo’, and a reduced copy of his seven-character ancient poem ‘Feng Ti Ya Yu Da Gong Chu Sai Tu’ (the original piece is approximately 2 meters long and 1 meter wide, currently housed in the Palace Museum in Beijing).
The east and west exhibition halls also display research findings on ‘The Scholars’ by domestic and international experts and scholars, some cultural relics and stone carvings from his former residence, as well as works by well-known domestic calligraphers and painters.
