The Wuding Gate Park was completed in 2001. Relying on the Qinhuai River and along the Ming City Wall, it has a total length of more than 1,000 meters from north to south. The park covers an area of 46,000 square meters. There are many kinds of fitness equipment in the park for citizens to use for free. The park is mainly composed of squares, greenery and antique buildings. Magnolia grandiflora and pomegranates are planted. The trees on both sides of the road are verdant, the air is fresh, and the buildings are antique. It is suitable for morning exercises and evening walks. Inside the city wall south of Wuding Gate, there is an internal space designed as the predecessor of this section of the city wall – the ruins of the city wall of Jinling City in the Southern Tang Dynasty, as well as the ruins of Fugu Tower and a two-story exhibition hall displaying the history and culture of the Southern Tang Dynasty.
