The 2024-2025 Chinese Badminton Club Super League will hold the 8th to 10th rounds of the second cycle from December 20th to December 22nd at the Wuhu Aviation City Sports Center in Anhui. According to the schedule, regular season matches are conducted in two time slots each day, with the first slot starting at 13:30 and the second at 18:30. This season’s league includes eight clubs: Xiamen Sports Industry Group Badminton Club, Ruichang International Badminton Academy Club, Shenzhen Yuzhong Badminton Club, Zhejiang Jingti Badminton Club, Anhui Xinghang Badminton Club, Qingdao Renzhou Badminton Club, Hunan LiXiang HuaLai Badminton Club, and Jiangsu Tianmu Lake Badminton Club. All athletes in the league are categorized into A, B, and C levels. A-level athletes are those who have won individual Olympic or World Championship titles within the past two years. B-level athletes are those who have achieved top three in individual events at the Olympics, World Championships, or BWF Tour Finals, as well as those who are part of the Sudirman Cup or Thomas Cup winning teams. All other athletes are categorized as C-level. In the new season of the league, there are two A-level athletes – Paris Olympic mixed doubles champions Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong. B-level includes Chen Yufei, Huang Dongping, He Bingjiao, Liang Weikun, Wang Chang, Liu Shengshu, Tan Ning, Shi Yuqi, Li Shifeng, Liu Yuchen, Ou Xuanyi, Wang Zhiyi, Han Yue, Lu Guangzu, He Jiting, Ren Xiangyu, Feng Yanzhe, Jiang Zhenbang, and Wei Yaxin, totaling 19 individuals. In the new season, the local Anhui Xinghang Badminton Club participates with male athletes such as Dong Tianyao, Huang Xilong, Liu Yang, Liu Yi, Song Yi, Tan Qiang, Yu Jiahao, and Zhang Xiusong; and female athletes including Dai Wang, Kang Jia Ge, Peng Zixin, Wang Xin Yao, Yu Xiao Xi, Zhang Jia Han, Zhang Xing Zhuo, and Zhang Yi Man. Among the eight clubs, Zhejiang Jingti boasts a strong lineup, including Paris Olympic champions Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong, as well as Tokyo Olympic women’s singles champion Chen Yufei, and Paris Olympic men’s doubles runner-up Wang Chang. The traditional powerhouse Qingdao Renzhou has several strong doubles players, including Liu Yuchen, Liang Weikun, Feng Yanzhe, Guo Xinwa, Li Yi Jing, and Luo Xu Min, with Han Yue in singles. Xiamen Sports Group, which has won multiple league titles, is led by Tokyo Olympic mixed doubles champion Huang Dongping, and also includes He Jiting, Jiang Zhenbang, and Wei Yaxin as doubles players. Ruichang Badminton Academy has notable players such as Liu Shengshu, Tan Ning, Wang Zhiyi, Li Shifeng, Ou Xuanyi, and Ren Xiangyu. Jiangsu’s renowned players He Bingjiao, Shi Yuqi, and Lu Guangzu are playing for the Jiangsu Tianmu Lake Club this season.
Athletes will appear at Wuhu Aviation City Sports Center to compete in the second round of the first phase of the regular season.
