Wulin Square is located to the north of West Lake in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, in front of the provincial exhibition hall, and is named for its location within the Wulin Gate area. Surrounded by newly constructed high-rise buildings such as the Telecommunications Building, Hangzhou Tower, Hangzhou Theater, and Hangzhou International Building, Wulin Square has become a bustling central square in the form of a garden in Hangzhou city.

Built in 1985, the square features a fountain with a diameter of 36 meters, resembling a five-petal plum blossom, with the core being a statue of three girls dancing with red silk. The fountain is open all year round and available 24 hours a day, with specific operating conditions subject to the day’s opening status.
