Wusongkou is located at the confluence of the Huangpu River and the Yangtze River, approximately 4 kilometers northwest of Baoshan District. All ships entering and leaving the Port of Shanghai and the Yangtze River pass through here. It is named after the ancient Wusong River estuary. The terrain on the south bank of the Yangtze River nearby is low and flat, with an elevation of about 3 meters in most areas. It is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
