Wuxi Aquarium is located on the south side of Wuxi Zoo, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, with an exhibition area of over 10,000 square meters. The aquarium features a novel and unique design, captivating content, and integrates marine life display with ocean science and culture. It is a large-scale, modern comprehensive marine theme park in the Wuxi area, which was opened to the public during the 2014 National Day holiday.
In terms of design, Wuxi Aquarium emphasizes fun and uniqueness, creating a magical atmosphere with fairy tale elements combined with high-tech methods. The aquarium is divided into multiple areas to showcase the enchanting underwater world, including areas such as Angry Sea Sailing, Fairy Tale Kingdom, Magic Tunnel, Dreamy Forest, Shark Thrills, Jellyfish Secret, Blue Wave Charm, Mermaid Stage, Deep Sea Exploration, Sea Tribe Treasure Hunt, and Blue Theater, all of which possess a dreamlike quality. Together, they present an ocean culture display environment full of childlike wonder and curiosity.
Opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:00 all year round. Preferential policies include free admission for children under 6 years old (including 6 years old) or under 1.4 meters in height (including 1.4 meters) with their household registration book or ID card. Children between 6 and 18 years old (including 18 years old), elderly people over 60 years old (including), full-time university undergraduate and below students, active-duty military personnel, and people with disabilities all enjoy discounted tickets with their valid identification documents, household registration books, IDs, student IDs, and disability certificates.
