Located in Wuxi Taihu New City, Changguangxi National Wetland Park is nestled between Shanjunshan and Xuelangshan to the west, adjoins Taihu Lake to the south, and connects to Li Lake to the north, serving as a corridor linking Taihu and Li lakes, and is metaphorically known as the kidneys of Taihu and Li lakes.
Since ancient times, the wetland park has been known for its natural landscape of a water town and paradise for waterfowl. Inside the park, the Shitang Corridor Bridge is one of the iconic landscapes of Dongli Lake, representing the long history and culture of Li Lake with Jiangnan characteristics.
On the west bank of Changguangxi, there are continuous peaks with towering ancient trees, and the mountains and rivers are picturesque; to the east of the creek lies the boundless plain with lush green fields and beautiful scenery. Dozens of bridges such as Shitang Bridge, Hengshan Bridge, Nanquan Bridge, and Wutang Bridge span across Changguangxi, resembling rainbows resting on waves, facilitating east-west land transportation.
The park is open all year round from 10:00 to 22:00.
