The Xia Family Courtyard, also known as Xia’s Courtyard, is located on Xizhi Street on the east side of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It was built by Xia Bingjun during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a six-entry Qing-style brick-wood structure building with Jiangnan features, integrating a front store and a back residence. On April 15, 2013, it was announced as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit by the Changzhou Municipal People’s Government.
