Xia Guang Bridge is located in Huayang Village, Sisi Town, and is a stone arch wooden corridor bridge. It was first built in the first year of the Qing Yongzheng era (1723) and has been repaired during the Xianfeng and Tongzhi years. The bridge is 17.26 meters long, 4.42 meters wide, and spans 13.2 meters across the stream.
The Xia Guang Bridge features a stone arch that forms a semi-circular shape with evenly laid stones. The balanced and symmetrical, beautiful lines are reflected in the clear waves, combining the solid and void, and complementing each other. Above the stone arch, there are seven rooms of corridor houses. The corridor houses are equipped with wooden boards to shield the wind on the outside and eaves to shelter from the rain on top. The eaves are of a double-layer style, with a gentle and orderly ridge, and the corners are slightly curved. The wings extend slightly and then slightly rise, adding a touch of dynamism to the roof when viewed from a distance, and a soaring momentum when viewed up close. The entire roof gives a warm, soft, light, and elegant aesthetic feeling.
Opening hours: The bridge is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
