Xiangwang Park is located in the north of Huzhou City. It is said that it is the site of Fengsheng Gate, one of the old city gates of Huzhou. Legend has it that Xiang Yu led 8,000 disciples from Jiangdong to attack the violent Qin Dynasty. They went out through this gate. To commemorate the overlord of Chu, Fengsheng Gate is called ‘Overlord Gate’. Xiangwang Park includes city gates, Xiangwang Corridor and surrounding greenery. At the northwest of the original site of Fengsheng Gate are the city gate and city tower (Xiangwang Tower). On the northwest side of the city gate is Xiangwang Corridor, and on the south side is a square, surrounded by green spaces on both sides. In the park, there are three sets of sculptures. Among them, the main sculpture of Xiang Yu is placed in the middle on the north side of the city gate. On the east and west sides of the square, there are two sets of horse-drawn chariot sculptures, which are the opposite views of Renmin Road and Huancheng North Road respectively. There is a cruise ship terminal in the park where you can take a boat to enjoy the scenery. Along the waterway are characteristic landscapes such as Changdao Park, Nantaihu Bridge and Changdao Music Fountain.
