Xiangshan, the ancestral temple of the Earth Store Bodhisattva, who embodies filial piety, holds a unique and significant position in the Buddhist world. There are more than ten temples of various sizes on Xiangshan. The mountain has a distinctive appearance, standing alone and towering, with a wide and flat area around it, resembling Mount Fuji in Japan. Xiansheng Temple, located on the southern slope of Xiangshan, is a temple with a long history and widespread reputation, which primarily worships the Earth Store Bodhisattva and was originally built during the Tang Dynasty’s Tianbao era.
