Xiangyang Reservoir, formerly known as Guanwangdian Reservoir, is a picturesque area with lush green mountains and clear waters.
Upstream, there is a famous person’s regular script inscription ‘Shimen’, an ancient relic; along the ‘Shimen’, one can find the Ming Dynasty carving ‘Bili Wanren’ (meaning ‘Sheer Cliffs’) clearly visible on the cliffs and steep walls just tens of meters away. From the top of the dam, one can gaze westward to see the winding Daqing Mountain, stretching for tens of miles like a barrier, facing the Hengshan in the distance. This place is not only a popular tourist attraction but also an ideal destination for leisure and vacation getaways.Xiangyang Reservoir – A Scenic Spot in Nanjing
