Xiaolianzhuang and Jiaye Library is located on the west side of Wangu Bridge in Nanhe Town, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Jiaye Library is the library of Liu Chengqian in modern times. It was completed in 1924 and is named after the imperial plaque ‘Qinruo Jiaye’ of Emperor Puyi of the Qing Dynasty. It is a two-story brick-wood structure building with a plane in the shape of a ‘return’. It is composed of two entrance halls and wing rooms.

In the center is a patio, and corridors are set up around it. Xiaolianzhuang is one of the famous gardens in the south of the Yangtze River. It was built by local wealthy merchant Liu Yong in 1885 (the eleventh year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty), covering an area of 17,000 square meters and a building area of 1,250 square meters. The garden is centered on a pool, forming an inner garden dominated by mountains and an outer garden dominated by water.
