Xiao Lizhuang is nestled within the Weishan Lake Wetland Honghe Scenic Area, spanning an area of 8000 square meters. It is surrounded by water on three sides, with reeds and lush vegetation creating a serene backdrop. Amidst this natural beauty, Xiao Lizhuang stands, featuring the headquarters of the Railway Guerrilla Squad led by Captain Liu Hong, the former residence of Fang Lin, and the bases of the first and second squads of the Railway Guerrilla. Numerous heroic wax figures of the guerrilla fighters are also on display. This site served as the lake-based stronghold for the Railway Guerrilla during the war years. During the Anti-Japanese War, the guerrilla fighters rested and regrouped here, launching surprise attacks on the Japanese forces. The old houses, destroyed by the Japanese during the war, were reconstructed based on their original appearance and served as the filming location for the TV series ‘Railway Guerrilla’. To the east of the village, there is an entry dock, a reed maze, and a lookout post, all part of the defensive structures. The village is open to visitors all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
