The Xin’an River Landscape Gallery is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. It is located in Shexian County, a famous historical and cultural city in China. With a total length of about 100 li, it is a shining pearl on the golden tourist line of Huangshan – Huizhou Ancient City Shexian – Qiandao Lake. The ecological environment on both sides of the Xin’an River Landscape Gallery is very good, presenting a three-dimensional ecological pattern of alpine forests, mid-mountain tea, low-mountain fruits, and fish in the water. It complements the ancient villages and dwellings with white walls and black tiles hidden among them. It is a green mountain in a painting and a rural area in the water, forming a beautiful traditional Chinese landscape painting. Along the river are dotted with ‘Thousand-year-old Camphor Tree’, ‘Red Dressing House’, ‘Santang’ loquat, ‘Sankou’ tangerine, General’s Wharf, Miantan Rural Small Theater, Xin’an Fishing Style – Nine Surnames Fishing, Jiusha Ancient Village, Xinyangcun Ancient Dwellings, ancient workshops, Phoenix Island and farmhouse entertainment, allowing tourists to experience it and linger. The Xin’an River is picturesque all year round with beautiful scenery. Someone once said that it is even more beautiful than the Lijiang River. Even the poetic fairy Li Bai once wrote a poem: ‘The clear brook clears my heart, the water color is different from other waters. May I ask about the Xin’an River, why is it so clear to the bottom?’ praising it. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 16:00. The departure times of cruise ships in the Xin’an River Landscape Gallery scenic area are: 9:00 and 10:30 in the morning; 13:00 and 14:30 in the afternoon. The cruise takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.
