Xin’anjiang River Landscape Gallery, a national AAAA-level scenic area, is situated within the historical and cultural city of She County in China, stretching approximately 100 miles in length. It is a shining jewel on the golden tourism line from Huangshan to Huizhou Ancient City She County to Thousand Islands Lake.
The ecological environment along the banks of the Xin’anjiang River is excellent, showcasing a three-dimensional ecological pattern with high mountain forests, tea in the middle mountains, fruits in the low mountains, and fish in the water. This is complemented by the ancient villages and residences with white walls and black tiles, interspersed among them, creating a beautiful landscape painting. The river is dotted with attractions such as the ‘Millennium Camphor Tree’, ‘Red Makeup Hall’, ‘Three Ponds’ loquats, ‘Three Mouths’ honey oranges, General Port, Miantan Rural Small Theater, Xin’an Fishing Style—Nine Surnames Fishing, Jiusha Ancient Village, Xinyang Village Ancient Residences, ancient workshops, Phoenix Island, and agritourism, allowing visitors to immerse themselves and linger.
Xin’anjiang is picturesque in all seasons with beautiful scenery. It has been said to be more beautiful than Li River, and even the poet Li Bai praised it with the verse ‘Clear stream clears my heart, the water color is different from all waters. I ask Xin’anjiang, how can it be so clear at the bottom.’ The scenic area is open all year round from 08:00 to 16:00. The boat departure times for the Xin’anjiang River Landscape Gallery are 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM; 1:00 PM, and 2:30 PM, with a boat journey lasting approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
