Originally, there was no Xingguoyuan. The idea of building a park emerged due to the protection of an ancient tower. The park is located with Zhongshan South Road in the east, South Street in the south, Xingguo Lane in the west, and Qinglong Lane in the north, covering an area of 26,000 square meters. It is divided into three functional areas: commemoration area, ancient scenery appreciation area, and poetry culture area.
A pool has been excavated, greenery has been planted, a new square has been built, and a large relief has been created, reproducing seven ancient bridges that have disappeared in Jiangyin, namely ‘Shanzheng Bridge’, ‘Shengmu Bridge’, ‘Xiaohong Bridge’, ‘Taiping Bridge’, ‘Jiyang Bridge’, ‘Jinxian Bridge’, and ‘Hongjian Bridge’. Antique-style buildings such as Daya Hall, Jiaoshan Pavilion, Qinyin Pavilion, Yusheng Pavilion, Huiyu Nunnery, Yichun Pavilion, and Shanghu Thatched Cottage have been constructed, taking historical and cultural inheritance as the context. It has become an ‘urban oasis’ in a modern city, an educational base for reminiscing about the past and enjoying the present, and an excellent place for citizens to rest and exercise. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the actual opening situation on that day.Xingguoyuan
