Established in 1986, Xinyi Museum was created to further promote the long-standing local historical culture. In 1997, the Xinyi municipal government selected a site to build a new museum, which was completed and opened to the public on February 5, 2002. It has since become a landmark in Xinyi, attracting numerous visitors.
The museum is closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; it is open from 09:00 to 11:30 and from 14:30 to 17:00 on Tuesdays to Sundays.Xinyi Museum
