The ‘Xiqing Hall’, located on the old street of Xizha, is a large wedding custom celebration hall dedicated to displaying Jiangnan folk marriage, betrothal and wedding, and festive etiquette. It is composed of eight ancient halls on two floors with four openings and four entrances. It includes: front hall, wedding hall, council hall, sedan chair hall, back hall, Sanzun Hall, colorful building, bridal chamber, and back garden. As well as dowry, furnishings, props, attendants, clothing, pearl crowns, drapes, wedding boats, wedding stickers, and wind and percussion bands that display the old wedding customs. Tourists can experience the original old Jiangnan wedding in the hall and personally participate in this classical wedding. There are tourist interactive experience projects such as ancient costume experience, snapshot shooting, and paper cutting in the hall, truly experiencing the taste of why people in the old days called marriage ‘a minor success in the imperial examinations’.
