The Xishan Geological Museum in Taihu Lake, Suzhou is the first national geological park museum in the province. It is located in Shuiyuewu, Xishan Island, Wuzhong District. With a construction area of 6,000 square meters, it has multiple exhibition halls such as the Earth Hall, Mineral Resources Hall, Geological Environment Hall and Multi-functional Video Hall. It shows the unique natural landscape resources such as structure, stratum, paleontology, karst and lake erosion in the Taihu Lake Basin in an all-round and multi-scale way, and fully displays the natural, humanistic and geographical features of Xishan. It integrates exhibition, research and education, and condenses the unique geological and landform landscapes of Taihu Lake Basin.
