Xiyou Paradise in Huai’an is the first comprehensive theme park themed around the classic Chinese novel ‘Journey to the West’, both domestically and internationally. It is divided into 9 distinct areas, each corresponding to the four continents, the four main characters, and the author Wu Cheng’en in ‘Journey to the West’. Leveraging the rich entertainment elements embedded in ‘Journey to the West’, the park combines modern amusement rides with immersive experiences, meticulously crafting 42 entertainment projects and 46 atmospheric performance projects such as parades and closing shows.
It uses new technologies to multi-dimensionally present classic scenes like the Flower-Fruit Mountain, Gao’s Village, and Thunder Monastery, creating a theme park that integrates ‘entertainment, experience, and technology’.Opening hours are as follows: From November 4th to December 1st, the park is open from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 21:00 on weekends. On December 4th, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 28th, and 29th, the park is open from 10:00 to 21:00. From December 2nd to 3rd, and December 5th to 6th, and December 23rd, the park is open from 10:00 to 17:00. Closed on December 9th to 13th and December 16th to 20th. On December 31st, the park is open from 10:00 to 01:00. Night sessions are available on Saturdays and Sundays from November 4th to December 1st, and on December 4th, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, and 30th. Night session ticketing is from 16:00 to 20:00, and on December 31st from 16:00 to 23:00.
Preferential policies: Children under 1.2 meters (not including) enter for free; children between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (including) receive a discount. Full-time primary, middle, and high school students with a student ID receive a discount. Elderly between 60 years (including) and 70 years (not including) with a senior citizen ID or other valid documents receive a discount. Elderly 70 years (including) and above with a senior citizen ID or other valid documents enter for free with a healthy adult family member purchasing a ticket to accompany them.
