Xugou Seaside Park, originally expanded from the ‘LeShou Mountain Villa’ of Bai Baoshans, the town governor of Huaibei, in 1958, features an octagonal ‘Xiangku Pavilion’ and ‘Rui Shi Wo’. On Rui Shi Wo, there is an inscription by Huang Jie on the stone carving of Bai Baoshans.
In 1983, when Lianyungang City and Daikoku-shi of Japan became sister cities, two cypress trees were planted as a symbol of Sino-Japanese friendship. The park is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
